Their head is broad with a well-developed skull, a slightly tapered muzzle, and medium-sized ears that naturally fall to the sides of the head. The eyes are usually dark, expressing a marked vigilance and intelligence.

The Gaddi Kutta has a thick and dense coat, well-suited to the cold climates of the Himalayas.
