The Small Münsterländer, also known as the Münsterländer Vorstehhund (Little Münsterländer) is a breed of hunting dog originating from Germany, more precisely from the Münster region.

The Small Münsterländer is of medium size. Males generally measure between 48 and 56 cm at the withers, while females measure between 45 and 54 cm. The average weight generally varies between 16 and 22 kg.

The coat is dense, wavy or slightly curly, of medium length. The coat is usually white with brown markings (schimmel) or brown with white markings (plaque). The ears are usually decorated with fringes.

The head is proportionate to the body, with a slightly rounded skull and a well-defined stop. The eyes are medium sized, dark in color, with a gentle expression. The ears are set high, of medium size, carried drooping.

The Small Münsterländer is renowned for its friendly, intelligent and energetic nature. It is a versatile hunting dog that excels in ground searching and retrieving game.

He is described as being loyal to his family, sociable with other dogs and pets, and generally friendly towards strangers.
